On site we have cultivated a large vegetable and fruit garden and a fruit orchard. Maintained through the efforts of a "sweat equity-style CSA program", members of the CSA help shape the direction and success of the program through their contribution of time. Featured at the homestead is also a greenhouse in which to grow plant starts from seeds and extend the vegetable season for year round harvest, an aviary with two flocks of chickens and an apiary of four honeybee hives.
